HEAL - Health Enhancing Active Living
Study Overview
This study aims to bridge the gap between research and practice by evaluating both the efficacy and real-world effectiveness of a pilot Healthy Longevity Clinic at Alexandra Hospital, launched in 2023. The clinic represents a shift from traditional “sick care” to preventive healthcare by integrating pre-clinical and clinical research into practice.
The Health Enhancing Active Living (HEAL) study will employ a longitudinal observational approach to assess the clinic’s impact. It will collect real-world data on the use of diagnostics, multidisciplinary care, and personalised health plans, evaluating clinical outcomes, process efficiency, patient satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and service utilisation.
